Independence Day Celebrated at APS 20

Demokratic Front, Chandigarh, 18      August :

Adarsh Public Smart School, Sector 20, Chandigarh (Aps-20) celebrated Independence Day with great pomp and show. The school campus was decorated with tricolor flags and balloons. 

Principal Sunita Thakur hoisted the flag and congratulate the students and staff. She gave a speech and told the students how our great freedom fighters, leaders and un sung heroes had struggled and lost their lives for their country to get freedom. She also told them the motto of MERI MATTI, MERA DESH and VASUDHA VANDAN. She conducted a quiz related to Independence Day. 

Students also performed dance on patriotic songs and role play on freedom fighters. They also recite patriotic poems . The function concluded with the National Anthem.
