Panjab University’s Sanskrit department organised ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ today. It was held to give students a platform for discussing exam related problems with the faculty members. Mr. Vijay Bharadwaj, faculty member, shared important guiding principles with the students by the way of a presentation. He emphasized that examination results are not the end of the world and hence students should never take results to their hearts.

Prof. Virendra Kumar Alankar, Academic Incharge of the department, shared his own experiences as a student and how he polished his own writing skills as a student. “Students should work specifically on their writing skills, as these are of the utmost importance from the point of view of examination”, he said.

Dr. Satyan Sharma, faculty member, shared essential guidelines for writing a good answer in the examination. He said that such examinations, as the ones students are going to appear for, are a test of their writing abilities and that’s what the students should work on.

Students of MA Sanskrit, 2nd  and 4th  semesters participated in the event held at the Panini library of the department. Examinations for MA Sanskrit begin on 9.5.2023.
