NGO AAHARIKA organised Maha Bhog at Gur Asra Orphanage Home Palsora

Shreya screened the girls of Orphanage of Gur Asra under the regular social initiative of NGO Aaharika for marasmus, under nourished and PEM (Protein Energy Mal Nourished) diseases and these children were served protein rich diet as langar Maha bhog. Earthen pots were distributed, chulai ke laddu, dry gram and jaggery, ragi pudding, millet khichdi were distributed.
The screening team included dietitian Shreya, her entire team. Shreya said that all of us should come forward to solve the problems of the lower class colonies of our society and to fulfill the responsibility of their children’s health and malnutrition, similar effort is being carried out every week by her NGO Aaharika.
Shreya said that due to the lack of iron, protein, minerals and vitamins among Indian women, it is difficult for the people living below the poverty line, Shreya appealed to the able people to cooperate with the lower class of the society.
Shreya also distributed basic education books, stationery, sports equipment, shoes etc. to the children of Orphanage Gur Asra along with ragi halwa, jaggery gram and millet khichdi.Shreya said that simlar campaign by dietician Shreya Academy and Aaharika will continue every Friday in some needy area.
