Blood donation camp held outside bus stand sector 43

Chandigarh 15 February 2022:

To meet the shortage of blood in Tricity hospitals, Vishvas Foundation, Chandigarh Government Transport Workers Union Registered and Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp on Tuesday. The camp was set up outside Bus Stand ISBT Sector 43. Special care was taken for social distance, masks and sanitization in the camp.

Vishvas Foundation general secretary Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that the team of Blood Bank PGI Chandigarh collected 101 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Priyanka. All the blood donors who came to the camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters, masks, soaps and gifts. On this occasion Raj Kumar Sharma, Jaswant Singh Jassa, Ajit Kumar Sharma, Kulwinder Cheema, Ravindra Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Rakesh Kumari, Varindra Gandhi, Shatrughan Kumar, Neeraj Yadav, doctors of Vishal Kunwar Blood Bank and other dignitaries were also present.
