55 youth donated blood in mobile market sector 22B Chandigarh
Chandigarh 12 February 2022:
Vishvas Foundation, Traders Welfare Association Sector 22B and Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at Mobile Market Sector 22B Chandigarh. This camp was organized to meet the shortage of blood in hospitals due to Corona epidemic. Special care was taken for social distance, masks and sanitization in the camp.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvasc, general secretary of Vishvas Foundation said that the camp was inaugurated by the Mr. Subhash Narang, President of Traders Welfare Association Sector 22B. The team of Blood Bank Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre Sector-37 Chandigarh collected 55 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Manish Rai.
All the blood donors who came to the camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters, masks, sanitizers, soaps and gifts. On this occasion, Rakesh Kumari from Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State, Chandigarh and Rishi Prabhu Vishvas, Rishi Mohit Vishvas, Shatrughan Kumar from Vishvas Foundation, doctors of Blood Bank and other dignitaries were also present.
