Chandigarh Police arrested Shaurabh R/o 207, Shashtri Nagar, Manimajra age 20 years, while he was playing satta near Kola Depo fish market, Shastri nagar, Manimajra on 14.09.2021. Total cash Rs. 4022/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 68, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh. Later, he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Mohammad Rafi R/o # # 2364, sector-25, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his Tvs Star City M/cycle No. CH-03Y-3496 from near complainant’s residence during night on 12-09-2021. A case FIR No. 123, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Arrest in Theft
A lady resident of Sector 25, Chandigarh reported that Karan (age 23 years) R/o # 224, Dadu Majra, Chandigarh, stole away complainant silver chain, golden tops, HP gas cylinder and iron dombal set from her residence on 12.09.2021. A case FIR No. 122, U/S 380 has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Accused has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Wazid Ali @ Raja (age-40 years) R/o 329/1, Hallo Majra, chandigarh and recovered (1) 160 Chlorphniramin Maleate syrup 100ml each, 2). 750 capsules of Drochloride Tramadol, 3) 320 Capsules of Proxvon plus, 4) 7500 tablets Diphenoxylatr hydrochloride, 5) 195 tablets Nitravet-10, 6) 420 tablets Alprazolam from his possession near Deep complex, Hallo majra, Chandigarh on 14.09.2021. A case FIR No. 129, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
