One arrested under NDPS Act

         Chandigarh Police arrested Ranjit Singh @ Kalsi R/o # 1430/2, Sector 29-B, Chandigarh (Age 35 Years) recovered 7.5 gram heroin from his possession, near Kacha rasta, Mango garden, Sector 29, Chandigarh on 10.09.2021. A case FIR No. 139, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Ind Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector 43/A, Chandigarh reported that 4 unknown ladies in car number not known who sped after snatching complainant gold bangles near # 1004, Sector 43/A, Chandigarh on 10.09.2021 while she was gone for walk with her sister. A case FIR No. 160, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Caught red hand

         A case FIR No. 73, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Jile Singh posted in Traffic Wing against Sunit R/o # 1656/10, Village Jagatpura, Distt. Mohali aged 20 years was caught red handed while stealing complainant’s motorcycle No.HR35L-6096 near PWD store, Sector 49, Chandigarh on 10.09.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel

Ram Phal r/o # 119, Village Attawa, Chandigarh reported that Parveen resident of Sector-26 Chandigarh who beaten/threatened to complainant and damaged his car near Women police Station Sector 17, Chandigarh on 04.09.2021. A case FIR No. 141, U/S 323, 506, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Endangering life

case FIR No. 66, U/S 336, 337 IPC & 122, 177 has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sushil Kumar R/o # 3559 Top Floor, Sector 38-D, Chandigarh who reported that his brother namely Gurparsad (working as security guard in Hotel Mount view) driving motorcycle No. CH01AM3177 and struck into fourtuner car No. PB08CK-8800 at Sector 10/11 dividing road on 07.09.2021, which was parked in the road very negligently manner without parking light. Complainant got injured admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
