Action against Gambling

  Chandigarh Police arrested Raghubir Singh, Satish Kumar and Ram Saroop @ Jony while they were gambling near moon light park, Sector 22, Chandigarh on 03.09.2021. Total cash Rs. 5300/- was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No. 136, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Later, he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested in Theft

Manoj Kumar R/o # 4196, Maloya Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s bag containing brown colour purse, pan card, DL, credit card and ATM from Shastari Market, Sec-22 Chandigarh on 20-07-2021, where he gone for some purchasing. A case FIR No. 135, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. During investigation accused Amit kumar R/o # 3690, Maloya colony Chandigarh arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Kanchan Dhiman r/o # 2476, Sector 27, Chandigarh working as Postman in Post Office, Sector 19, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole his Hero cycle alsongwith 25 speed post letters and 8 registered letters from near SBI Bank, Sector 7, Chandigarh on 03.09.2021.  A case FIR No. 168, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Daya Ram @ PujariR/o # 362/B, Sanjay colony, Phase-1, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s rehri from near Mama Kitchen, Sector 30, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 137, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-I/A, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rakesh Rohila r/o # 2206/A, Block No. 16, Sector 53, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away spare wheel of his Mohinder Jeep No. CH01AK0006 while it was parked near his residence on 02.09.2021. Burglary

Tejinder singh #2738/A, Sector 42, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away 4 gold bangles, one gold kada, 2 gold chains, 5 gold rings, 2 pair gold ear rings, one pair gold ear pin, one silver kada, 2 pair anklet, one silver bracelet from complainant’s residence on 03.09.2021 by breaking the lock of his house while they were gone for work. A case FIR No. 157, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 140, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Joginder of PS-34, Chandigarh against Amit Kumar R/o Village  Dera, Ambala (HR) driver of car No. HR04H5735, which hit to a pedestrian person near petrol pump, Sector 33, Chandigarh on 03.09.2021. Pedestrian got injured and was admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
