Theft

Hardeep Singh R/o # 133/D, sector-51/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 3 gold rings, 1 diamond ring, 1 gold set, 1 gold bangle from his house on the night intervening 21/22-08-2021 by breaking the main lock & door. A case FIR No. 65, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 113, U/S 279, 337 IPC & 179 (1) MV Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint constable Krishan 4667/CP, posted at police station 31, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of M/Cycle No. PB-65AT-9903 namely Sunny kapoor R/o # 1666, Deep complex, Hallo majra, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s near Raman Gas agency Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 22-08-2021 while he was performing Naka duty. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abetment to suicide

A case FIR No. 130, U/S 306 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sushil Mittal resident of 131, Sigma City, Zirakpur (PB) against Sanjeev Kumar R/o 7058, Sunny Enclave, Kharar (PB), who abetted/harassed complainant’s father namely Naresh mittal (age 53 years) who committed suicide at his shop No. 548, 1st floor, Kesho Ram complex, Burail Chandigarh on 04.08.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
