One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Mandeep Kumar @ Monu R/o # Masipan Road, Kotise Khan, Distt- Moga (PB)  (Age-38 years) and recovered  500 gm Charas from his possession from back side Shivalik garden Mani majra, Chandigarh on 19.08.2021. A case FIR No. 144, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested in theft case

Nirmal Singh R/o # 987, Deep Complex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant 120 pieces of ABC brass forging from Prabha Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Plot No 136-140/61 Ind. Area Ph-1, Chandigarh (where he is working as a supervisor) on 19-08-2021. Later, a person namely Sanjiv R/o # 494, Village- Daria, Chandigarh (age 21 years) and Akhilesh R/o # 395, Village- Daria, Chandigarh (age 25 years) have been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 380 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Gourav R/o # 1934, Sector-22, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. HR-05AU9892 from near his residence on night intervening 18/19-08-2021. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Amandeep Singh R/o # 4235/2 sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. PB-04W-9281, near his residence on night intervening 09/10-08-2021. A case FIR No. 214, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vimal Kumar R/o # 165, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s I10 Car No. CH-01BG9064, from back side DLF parking IT park on 16-08-2021. A case FIR No. 65, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 15 years has been missing from his residence since 18.08.2021. A case FIR No. 112, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 161, U/S 307, 34 IPC has been registered in PS- 26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohd. Adnan R/o # 58/A Ph-3, BDC, Sector-26 Chandigarh who alleged Karan, Rinku, Goutam and other attacked on complainant and his brother namely Mohd. Rihan with rod, sticks & sharp edge weapon in front of Church Gate Madrassi Colony, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 19-08-2021. Complainant and his brother both got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 64, U/S 420, 406 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vijay Kumar Sood R/o # 218, Ekta Vihar Baltana (PB) who alleged that a lady resident of Chandigarh cheated amount Rs. 1839000/- by assured complainant to allot him a house from Chandigarh Housing board. Investigation of case is in progress.

Fetus/Newborn Found

A case FIR No. 127, U/S 318 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against unknown person who thrown away a body of newborn / fetus into dustbin of Wash Room GHSH-16, Chandigarh on 19.08.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
