Sector-1 College organises online poem recitation competition

Panchkula, July 9,2021:
An Online Poetry Recitation Competition was organised by the Department of English of Government PG College, Sector-1. The session was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. Archana Mishra. She said that such events should be organised in these critical times to engage students in creative activities. She congratulated the students and teachers for their efforts. Head of the Department of English Vineeta Gupta shared valuable suggestions on poetry. Dr. Anita Hooda, Dr. Renuka Dhyani and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur judged the competition.

The competition inspired the young poets to come forward and exhibit their talents. The students came up with Poems on different themes and recited them with great fondness and zeal. Kritika, Divyaansh and Manisha bagged the first, second and third positions consecutively. Deepak Sharma technically assisted the faculty members for the successful organization of the competition. Dr. Archana, Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Mrs. Veena Jangra and Dr. Mallika were also present for the encouragement of students.
