Dowry

A lady resident of Sector 37, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Panch Nangal, Teh. Garshankar, Dist. Hoshiarpur harassed the complainant to bring more dowries. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 406, 498A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Hari Krishan `R/o # 2300, Sector-24C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. CH01-AQ- 7105 parked near SCO NO. 304, Sector-38D, Chandigarh on 23.06.2021. A case FIR No. 163, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Ram Kishore R/o # 2480, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh reported that four unknown persons on motor cycle sped away after snatching his purse which contained cash rupees 4500/- , ATM card and others valuables near Maloya, Sector-39 Turn, Chandigarh on 23-06-2021. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

  Chandigarh Police arrested Aniket (Age-20 Years), Ravi (Age-18 Years), Soman (Age-19 Years), Sahil (Age-21 Years),  all resident of EWS Colony, Maloya Chandigarh, while they were gambling near # 2149, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh on 23.06.2021. Total cash Rs. 5220/- was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No. 81, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Anshu Khurana R/o # 2327/C HB flats Sector-63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away RRU B03-1800Z210 (Sr. No. 2102311BTE4MF9003016) from tower which was fitted/installed at roof top of Advocate chamber in District Court Complex, Sector 43, Chandigarh on 23.06.2021. A case FIR No. 115, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 162, U/S 147, 148, 149, 341, 397, 427, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a Lucky R/o # 318/A, Sector-56, Chandigarh who reported that Manoj @Tanti, Vijay, Salman, Kala and three ladies, they all assaulted to complainant with sharp edge weapon, Wooden Sticks and Pelted Stones and also they robbed his mobile phone near # 6632 Sector-56 Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Kala, Salman and three ladies all resident of Sector 56, Chandigarh were arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
