Four persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Four different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=02, PS-Ind. Area=01 and PS-Manimajra-01 Chandigarh against 04 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 21.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

Action against Gambling/satta and cheating

    Chandigarh Police arrested Tarsem @ Pappi and Pardeep Singh @ Kaka both resident of Sector 24C, Chandigarh, while they were playing satta and cheating public at park near H. No. 2388, Sector-24, Chandigarh on 21.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 3155/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 73, U/S 420 IPC and 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Receive stolen property

A case FIR No. 74, U/S 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Shankar Kumar (PCR Staff) against Vinod Jaiswal @ Rinku R/o Village Dhanas, Chandigarh aged 40 years, who was apprehended  from forest area backside, PU, Sector 14, Chandigarh on 21.05.2021 and recovered two wooden cane chair from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstruction in public way

A case FIR No. 80, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Jatinder Singh R/o # 1522, sector 22, Chandigarh, while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near booth No. 4290, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 21.05.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 81, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Balraj Krishan resident of Balana, Mohali, while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near booth No. 4293, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 21.05.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Bikram Singh R/o # 383/A, Sector-43, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away cash Rs. 15000/-, one gold necklace, two gold bangles, one gold kitty set, one gold bracelet, two gold kara, four gold rings, three pair gold tops and one set gold kante from complainant’s residence on night intervening 20/21.05.2021. A case FIR No. 97, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 70, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against Shivam R/o # 1740, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagarn, Chandigarh, driver of motorcycle No. CH01BX-4779, who hit to unknown pedestrian person at Iron market Chowk on 21.05.2021. Pedestrian sustained injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh, where he was declared brought dead by duty doctor. Investigation of the case is in progress.
