11 persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Ten different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-11=01, PS-26=02, PS-Ind-Area=01, PS-Mouli Jagran=01, PS-49=01, PS-36=01, PS-17=01    and PS-Maloya-02 Chandigarh against 11 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 14.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

MV Theft

Gopal R/o # 87/1 Room No. 09 khudda jassu,Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet motorcycle No. HR-03X-9756 from near his house on the night intervening 28/29-04-2021. A case FIR No. 57, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Jaskaran Singh R/o # 115, melak nagar, kharar, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s motorcycle No. PB-27E-7877 from near SCO No. 1002, mobile market sector-22/B, Chandigarh on 05.05.2021. A case FIR No. 75, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 66, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manoj Kumar R/o # 418, Sector-20A, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Motor Cycle No. PB-08CU-2734 namely Puneet Sharma R/o # 662 City Enclave Zirakpur (PB)  hit to complainant’s Car No CH-01AN-4363 near Sec-47 C Light Point, Chandigarh on 13.05.2021. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady R/o sector-56, Chandigarh and recovered 50 NIPS of country made liquor from her possession near # 6600, sector-56 Chandigarh on 14.05.2021. A case FIR No. 124, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later, she was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

    Chandigarh Police arrested Sameen R/o #1138/2 Mori gate Mani majra, Chandigarh (2) Salim R/o # 1194 Mori gate Mani majra, Chandigarh. (3) Mohamad salim R/o # 1253 near old post office Mani majra, Chandigarh while they were gambling on public place and violating the curfew order issued by the DM Chandigarh near labour chowk Mani majra, Chandigarh on 14.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 13230/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 88, U/S 188 IPC & 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
