MV Theft

         Rahul R/o # 363/4, Shivalik Vihar, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01BC-4554 from CMC parking, Sector-17, Chandigarh between 18-02-2021 to 08-03-2021. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Akhlesh R/o # 405/1, Small Flats, Maloya, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-154(T)-0165 parked near his residence on 28-02-2021. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 65, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against driver of Pulsar motorcycle No. CH-01BG-7165 namely Pawan Bisht R/o # 643, Sector-56, Chandigarh which hit to a cyclist at light point, Sector-39/40, Chandigarh on 07.03.2021. Cyclist got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Murder

A case FIR No. 25, U/S 302 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ram Lal R/o # 274, Mauli Jagran, Part-2, Chandigarh who alleged that his son-in-law namely Sunny R/o 460/B, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh has murdered his daughter namely Purnima (age 24 years) at his house on 07.03.2021. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

       A case FIR No. 42, U/S 302 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against unknown person(s) who murdered a person namely Kedar R/o Village Nipaniya, Post Gadaura, Distt-Maharajganj (UP) near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector-53, Chandigarh on 08-03-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to Robbery

A case FIR No. 22, U/S 452, 394, 342, 506, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Satpal, caretaker at H.No. 66, Sector-8, Chandigarh who reported that two unknown persons entered in said house and tried to commit robbery on gun point on 08.03.2021. They also attacked the complainant with a sharp weapon. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Jitendera Singh Negi R/o # 1552, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons snatched mobile phone & cash Rs. 1000/- from complainant near dividing road, Sector-22A/D, Chandigarh on 08.03.2021. Later one person Jasbir Singh R/o # 2812, Sector-56, Chandigarh Age 18 years has been arrested in this case. One juvenile age 17 years has also been apprehended and later sent to juvenile home. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 341, 379-A, 34 IPC added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
