Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Dinesh Kumar @ Jain resident of Hallomajra, Chandigarh, while he was playing Satta near Kabar Market, Hallomajra, Chandigarh on 24.01.2021. Total cash Rs. 11230/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 14, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 1009, Sector-41, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bicycle from outside of his residence on the night intervening 23/24.01.2021. A case FIR No. 22, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sandeep Gupta R/o # 3219, Sector-37-D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bicycle from outside of his residence on 13.01.2021. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Manmohan Sharma R/o # 2092, Sector-37-C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bicycle from outside of his residence on 20.01.2021. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector 37C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s bicycle from outside of his residence on 19.01.2021. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating/forgery

          A case FIR No. 13, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint Anoop Khullar R/o # 1089, Sector-51B, Chandigarh against unknown persons who made forged the documents and filed numerous complaints against complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.
