A case FIR No. 10, U/S 188, 270, 34 IPC and 58 Disaster Management Act 2005 has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against owner Arvind Singla, Manager Suresh Kumar, worker Sahil Walia & Deepak Sharma for serving hukka to customers at A-State of Dance Club, SCO No. 51, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 10.01.2021 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Chandan R/o # 137, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh and Johan R/o # 141, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, while gambling at Park near # 153, BDC, Ph-2, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 10.01.2020. Total cash Rs. 1037/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 07, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later both were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Awnish Kumar R/o # 309, Gali No. 7, Village Daria, Chandigarh while playing satta near # 132, Ph-1, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 10.01.2020. Total cash Rs. 1250/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 09, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act and 420 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Ankit Kumar R/o # 196, Shastri Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-01TE-2002 from dividing road Sector-19/27, Chandigarh on 28-11-2020. A case FIR No. 08, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Bhola R/o # 174/2, Gali No. 5, Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Mahindra pick up No. HR-68-8278 from parking area of RIMIT School, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on night intervening 13/14-12-2020. A case FIR No. 06, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Kuldeep R/o # 975, Sector-25/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-54T-0164 from Market, Sector-32/D, Chandigarh on 05.01.2021. A case FIR No. 06, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 08, U/S 420, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Ravi, invigilator at Examination Center M.S. Technology, Plot No. 124, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh against Pardeep Sharma R/o Khatod Mahenderagarh (HR) who was caught while cheating at examination of Trades Men in ITBP recruitment on 10.01.2021. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 04, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Gagan Sharma, Representative for offline test at M/S Alaska Online Testing Centre, Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh against Sandeep R/o Village Dhani Jatan, Hissar (HR) who was caught while cheating with mobile phone and Bluetooth device at examination of Trades Men in ITBP recruitment on 10.01.2021. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 07, U/S 307, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Akbar Ali R/o # 489, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who alleged that Imran R/o Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh attacked on complainant with iron pipe at Regional Institute of English, Sector-32C, Chandigarh on 10.01.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 09, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 325 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Pawan Kumar R/o # 314/2, Sector-41/A, Chandigarh who alleged that Rubal, Ashu, Naveen assaulted complainant and his friend namely Happy at his Shop No. 54, Sector-41, Chandigarh on 07.01.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
