Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Kishori Lal Rana, Jai Bhagwan, Shibu and Ajit all resident of Chandigarh, while gambling near Masjid, Gobindpura, MM, Chandigarh on 07.01.2020. Total cash Rs. 4660/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 02, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later they were bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Amanjit Singh R/o # 2339, Sector-20/C, Chandigarh unknown person who stole away one sony LED and remote after broken the lock of complainant’s house in between dated 18.12.2020 to 27.12.2020. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Harwinder Singh Khanna R/o Plot No. 913/a, Ind. Area, Phase-2, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 40 to 50 kg brass circle from complainant’s Plot by breaking roof grill on the night intervening 26/27.12.2020. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sanjay R/o # 35/1, Bank Colony, MM, Chandigarh unknown person who stole away complainant’s Wagon R Car No. HR10P-7748 from parking area of bank Colony, MM, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Pushpinder Pal R/o # 332, Khokha market, Phase-1, Mohali, peanut seller, reported that 2 unknown person on black colour motorcycle snatched away his mobile phone from complainant from Daddumajra turn near Dumping ground on 07.01.2021. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
