Two persons arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay R/o # 128 Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh while consuming liquor near Park Vikas Nagar Mauli Jagran on 03.01.2021. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ravinder R/o # 76, Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh while consuming liquor near Tube well Batha Colony Mauli Jagran on 03.01.2021. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Illicit liquor recovered

          A case FIR No. 03, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against unknown person driver of Hyundai Eon car No. CH-01AR-8037 who left the car near Makhan Majra Turn, main road Chandigarh to Ambala on 03.01.2021. During checking 4 boxes containing 182 quarters and 9 boxes containing 108 bottles of country liquor have been recovered from the said car. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

Jaspal Singh R/o Village Tira, Distt Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB-65AV-3121 parked near Rana Computer Center, Sector-41, Chandigarh on 02.01.2021. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Asim Khan R/o # 1303, Saini Vihar, Ph-3, Baltana (PB) reported that two unknown persons occupant of Yamaha FZ motorcycle snatched away complainant’s mobile phone near Bus Stop Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh on 02.01.2021. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

  A case FIR No. 04, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vinod (Security Guard at Indusland Bank ATM) R/o # 7/3, Maloya, Chandigarh who reported that driver of Honda Cliq Scooter No. CH-49T-2772 which struck/rammed into the door of Indusland Bank ATM at Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 03.01.2021. Driver of Scooter namely Satyam R/o # 584, Village Hallo Majra, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh where he expired during treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

A case FIR No. 01, U/S 147, 148, 149, 336, 435, 427, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint a lady resident of DBC, Sector 25, Chandigarh who alleged that Subham @ Koda, Abhishek, Gaurav and other unknown persons threatened complainant and damaged vehicles parked outside of complainant’s residence and they also set fire on her Activa Scooter No. CH-01BP-7540 on 03.01.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
