मामला है लुधियाना के अंबेदकर नगर में रहने वाले प्रवासी मजदूर राम प्रताप तथा रामशाम के परिवार का। जो आज अपनी आपबीती सुनाने के लिए लुधियाना के गण्यमान्य व्यक्तियों पूर्व विधायक तरसेम जोधा तथा पंचायत यूनियन मोहाली के अध्यक्ष बलविंदर ङ्क्षसह कुंभड़ा सहित चंडीगढ़ में पत्रकारों के सामने पेश हुए। इन गण्यमान्यों में रोहित कुमार नामक वह व्यक्ति भी हाजर था, जिसके नाम अधीन उक्त फाइनांसर ने उक्त प्रवासी परिवार के खिलाफ पुलिस के पास मामला दर्ज करवाया था। दिल दहलाने तथा शर्मनाक उदाहरण लुधियाना में देखने को मिली है। जहां एक फाइनांसर ने महज 25 हजार रुपए के कर्ज के बदले एक प्रवासी मजदूर की दो जवान बेटियां ही गिरवी रखवा ली। उस मजबूर बाप से धोखे से लिखवाए हलफिया बयान में फाइनांसर ने यहां तक लिखवा रखा है कि बाप की मौत हो जाने या पैसे पूरे न होने की सूरत में यह लड़कियां उसके पास ही रहेंगी। इतना ही नहीं उक्त फाइनांसर ने उक्त प्रवासी परिवार पर दबाव बनाने के लिए किसी गैर व्यक्ति के फर्जी नाम अधीन पुलिस के पास शिकायत दर्ज करवा दी। मामला उस समय सामने आया जब फर्जी शिकायतकर्ता ने खुद पेश होकर पुलिस को स्पष्ट किया कि यह शिकयात उसने नहीं दी।

बातचीत दौरान यह बात सामने आई कि दरअसल 50 वर्षीय फाइनांसर जसविंदर सिंह वड़ैच उर्फ जस्सी की बुरी नजर उक्त प्रवासी परिवार की 21 वर्षीय लडक़ी पर थी, जिसको बहलाने के लिए उस फाइनांसर ने पहले भी एक ब्यूटी पार्लर की संचालक महिला द्वारा उनके घर राशन आदि भेजकर लडक़ी को बहलाने की नाकाम कोशिश की थी। उक्त लडक़ी की मां ने बताया कि उक्त फाइनांसर पहले भी अपने रुतबे तथा पहुंच का नाजायज फायदा उठाते हुए उनके परिवार को परेशान करता रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि उक्त फाइनांसर अपने कर्मचारी मोनू के अलावा एक पुलिस अधिकारी महिला मैडम अमृता बराड़ के द्वारा भी उन पर दबाव बनाने की कोशिश करता रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैडम बराड़ के कथित दबाव के कारण पुलिस उनको परेशान करती रहती है।

Chandigarh Police arrested Manu R/o # 283, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh near Shiv Mandir, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 34 quarters of country made liquor on 31.12.2019. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sonu Kumar R/o # 678, Village-Burail, Chandigarh near light point, Sector-44/45, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 20 quarters of country liquor on 01.01.2020. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ankit Kumar R/o # 493, DMC, Chandigarh from ground near SD Mandir Sector-37, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 144 quarters of country liquor on 01.01.2020. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Avdesh R/o # B/1, Adarsh Colony, Sector-54, Chandigarh near Taxi Stand, Sector-54, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 22 quarters of country liquor on 01.01.2020. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep @ Golu R/o # 346 Radha Krishan Road Khudda Lohra, Chandigarh and recovered 5 Gram Heroin from his possession at back side of Navodaya Vidyalaya, near Rally Ground Turn Sector-25, Chandigarh on 31.12.2019. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

पंचकूला, 1 जनवरी- 

हरियाणा सिविल सर्विसस के अधिकारी धीरज चहल ने आज पंचकूला के एसडीएम का कार्य भार संभाल लिया। 2019 बैच के अधिकारी चहल इससे पूर्व चण्डीगढ़ में हरियाणा रोडवेज परिवहन के महाप्रबंधक पद पर कार्यरत थे।

पंचकूला जिले में वह जिला राजस्व अधिकारी के पद पर अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके है। पंचकूला के एसडीएम सुशील कुमार, नगराधीश पंचकूला का कार्यभार देखेगें। इस पद पर कार्यरत नगराधीश नवीन कुमार आहूजा का यहां से स्थानांतर हो गया है।

पंचकूला, 1 जनवरी- 

हरियाणा की महिला एवं बाल विकास राज्य मंत्री कमलेश ढांढा ने आज नव वर्ष के अवसर पर भारत के ऐतिहासिक श्री माता मनसा देवी मंदिर में माता मनसा देवी के दर्शन किए। उन्होंने मंदिर परिसर में आयोजित पूजन एवं यज्ञ में भाग लिया।

इस अवसर पर प्रदेशवासियों को नव वर्ष की शुभकामनाएं दी और सभी प्रदेश वासियों के सुख-स्मृद्धि और यश की कामना की।  कार्यक्रम में एम.एस यादव तथा अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

पंचकुला 01 जनवरी :-

कमलदीप गोयल, ह0पु0से0, पुलिस उपायुक्त पंचकुला के दिशा-निर्देश पर जिला पंचकुला मे नव वर्ष 2020 के आयोजन के दौरान कानून एंव व्यवस्था बनाये रखने तथा किसी भी प्रकार की कोई अप्रिय घटना को होने से रोकने के लिये जिला पंचकुला द्वारा पुख्ता इंतजाम किये हुए थे तथा जगह-जगह पर 35 नाके लगाए हुए थे । इस दौरान पुलिस ने ट्रैफिक नियम तोड़ने वाले 22 वाहन चालकों के चालान किये गये । सभी 22 चालान शराब पीकर वाहन चलाने वालों के थे । इसके अलावा यातायात नियमों की अवहेलना करने व हुडदंग करने वाले दो वाहनों को इम्पाउंड भी किया गया । शहर मे नववर्ष के आयोजन के दौरान लगभग 400 पुलिस अधिकारी व कर्मचारी नववर्ष की पूर्व संध्या पर ड्यूटी पर मौजूद थे व इसके अलावा यातायात को शान्तिपूर्वक ढंग व सुचारू रूप से चलाने के लिये 100 पुलिस कर्मचारी तैनात थे ताकि आम नागरिक शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से नए साल का स्वागत कर सके ।

नववर्ष को लेकर पुलिस को शहर मे चप्पे-चप्पे पर तैनात किया गया था ताकि किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही न हो तथा इसके लिए 31 दिसम्बर को शाम को 6 बजे से ही सभी पुलिस अधिकारी अपनी-अपनी ड्यूटी पर तैनात हो गये थे । खुद पुलिस उपायुक्त श्री कमलदीप गोयल व उनके साथ-साथ सभी पुलिस अधिकारियो ने चेकिंग और पेट्रोलिंग की व सभी पर्यवेक्षण अधिकारी, प्रबंधक थाना, इन्चार्ज पुलिस चौकी व ट्रैफिक ने अपने-अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र मे पैट्रोलिंग की । जिला पुलिस द्वारा बरती गई सतर्कता के कारण जिला मे कही भी किसी भी प्रकार की कोई अप्रिय घटना की बात सामने नही आई है तथा आमजन द्वारा नववर्ष का स्वागत शांतिपूर्ण ढंग के किया गया ।

Korel, CHANDIGARH – 01.01.2020

One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place near Sector-25 turn, Chandigarh on 31.12.2019. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Puneet R/o # 711/18, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, while he was illegally carrying 20 quarters of country made liquor near Gali No.1, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 31.12.2019. A case FIR No. 290, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Dilbar R/o # 1254, Mori Gate, MM, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Samadhi Gate, MM, Chandigarh on 31-12-2019. Total cash Rs. 2620/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 222, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Smarth Gaint R/o # 25, Sector-27-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his car No. PB36E-6465 parked in front of his residence on 29.12.2019. A case FIR No. 291, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Adhiraj Nigam R/o # 2200/D, Block No. 15, Sector-63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Pulsar M/Cycle No. UP34X-4332 near his residence on the night intervening 29/30-12-2019. A case FIR No. 166, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Parveen Kumar R/o # 4383, Sector-46-D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold chain 10 gram, gold ring 5 gram, Silver anklet, 15 silver coins and cash Rs. 10,000/-, after breaking locks of his house while he was out of station between 27.12.2019 to 31.12.2019. A case FIR No. 321, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-41-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 15 kg tin of desi ghee, 2 tin Desi Ghee (5kg each), 36 pouch ghee (1kg each), 3 tin ghee (1kg each), some chocolates, cash Rs. 5000/- from cash box and DVR, after broken the locks of Vita Booth, AG Colony Sector-41B, Chandigarh on the night intervening 30/31-12-2019. A case FIR No. 474, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          Deep Kumar R/o # 362, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that his son age about 10 years along with two children of neighbor one girl aged about 7 years and one boy aged about 6 years have been missing since 30.12.2019.  A case FIR No. 307, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

PU VC Releases Calendar 2020

            Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor (VC), Panjab University (PU), urged all to work unitedly for promoting excellence in all fields and this being much more relevant with respect to the visit of NAAC Team to PU in 2022, while addressing the PU staff members on the occasion of New Year at the Administrative Block of the PU Campus here today. On this occasion, he released the PU Calendar 2020 in the presence of Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Registrar, Prof. Shankarji Jha, Dean of University Instructions, Prof Parvinder Singh, Controller of Examinations and Sh. Vikram Nayyar, Finance & Development Officer.

While greeting all on the occasion of New Year, PU VC solicited support from all to face all the challenges effectively for the betterment of the University. He underlined that all the demands of the administrative staff of the University is their right and it is his duty as the Head of the Institution to see that how it can be fulfilled.

            Prof. Shankarji Jha extended his warm wishes to the staff on the occasion and urged them to commit themselves for effective governance and taking PU to further heights.

Prof. Karamjeet Singh while addressing on the occasion said that we all part of big family and with the support of all, various initiatives during the year have seen the light of the day, which further has been instrumental in the speedy disposal of time-bound activities.

Prof Parvinder Singh and Sh. Nayyar also addressed the gathering and extended their warm wishes on the occasion.

            Sh. Deepak Kaushik while extending his New Year wishes to all, appreciated the support of PU VC in all their endeavours. He assured of all support from the non-teaching staff in the best interest of PU.
