Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 113, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against Arush Sharma R/o # 2385, BSNL Society, Sector-50, Chandigarh, owner of Cow Boy Club SCO No. 56,57,58 Sector-9/D, Chandigarh and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Dinesh Kumar, Mohd. Saleem and Om Parkash all resident of BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh while they were gambling near a public toilet, Grain market, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 23.12.2020. Total cash Rs. 2580/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 194, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later they were bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arms Act

A case FIR No. 224, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act & 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady who alleged that her husband Talib R/o # 799, New Indira Colony, Chandigarh is possessing Sharp Weapon (Kamanidar Knife) at her house to kill the complainant. She apprehended him with the help of her relative. Alleged person has been arrested in this case and one Kamanidar Knife also recovered from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady R/o Colony No.4, Ph-1, Ind. Area Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-127(T) 1064 parked near DEO office, Sector-19, Chandigarh on 04-11-2020. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

         Tarun Pareek R/o # Plot No. 08, Nirmohi Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan reported that unknown person stole away Lenovo Laptop from his bag from Bus at ISBT Sector-43, Chandigarh on 23-12-2020. A case FIR No. 244, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A case FIR No. 177, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Inderjit Singh (In-charge Cum Special Executive Magistrate, SDM South Sector-42 Chandigarh) R/o # 2216, Sec-44/C, Chandigarh against two unknown persons (motor cyclist) who snatched away  mobile phone and challan box near Chadha Clinic, DMC, Chandigarh on 23.12.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Amandeep Singh R/o # 29/3, Ground Floor, Khuda Ali Sher, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold jewelry, 5 silver coins, other valuable items and Cash Rs 45,000/- from his residence after breaking the locks between 21.12.2020 to 23.12.2020. A case FIR No. 149, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
