Action against gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Rajesh resident of 169 K-block Colony no. 4, Chandigarh, while playing gambling near Govt. school Colony no. 4, Chandigarh on 29.11.2020 and recovered cash Rs. 2740/- from his possession. A case FIR No. 212, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay Kant R/o # 1001, Deep complex Hallomajra, Chandigarh (age 38 years) and recovered 140 gram opium from his possession near Poultry farm chowk on 29.11.2020. A case FIR No. 224, U/S 18 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
