Action against gambling/satta 

Chandigarh Police arrested (1) Aslam,(2) Vikram Singh, (3) Manoj Kumar 4) Krishan Kumar, 5) Raj Kumar, and 6) Vijay Kumar all resident of Chandigarh, while they were gambling near SCF No. 10, first floor, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 03.11.2020 and cash Rs. 52, 800/-/- was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No. 185, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay r/o # 6509, Sector-56, Chandigarh, while playing satta near his residence on 03.11.2020 and cash Rs. 1420/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 344, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arms act

Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Bir Bhan R/o VPO Machhali Kaln, Tehsil Kharar, Distt. Mohali (PB), Age 30 years and recovered one revolver (Marked N.P FG11164 revolver .32 MK 11 field Gun Kanpur-in 2007) along with 06 live cartridges from his possession, near slip road Hotel J.W. Merriot, Sector-35, Chandigarh on 03.11.2020. A case FIR No. 206, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Nitin Sehgal R/o # 2713, Sector-38-C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant bicycle from his residence on the night intervening 02/03-11-2020. A case FIR No. 345, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Trespassing

          A case FIR No. 212, U/S 452 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of S.R. Goyal R/o # 285, Phase-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh against Shiv Kumar R/o # 285, Phase-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh, who has taken complainant’s Shed No. 1043/A, Phase-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh (Ground Floor) on rent, but he has trespassed into the first floor of portion of the shed illegally and without the consent of the complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.
