Theft

A lady resident of Sector-49/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant purse containing 2 samsung mobile phone, one diamond ring, SBI ATM card and cash Rs. 350000/- from Hotel Sunbeam, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 22.10.2020. A case FIR No. 179 U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Aman R/o # 393, PWT MM, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant one sony LED, one electric Iron and cash Rs. 8200/- from his residence after broken the door lock on 21.10.2020. A case FIR No. 161 U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A lady resident of Sector 46, Chandigarh reported that Sunny Virk R/o # 1125, Govindpura, Manimarja, Chandigarh, who cheated with complainant cash Rs. 5 lakh for providing job. A case FIR No. 203, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Roshan Lal Singhal R/o #3542, Sector-35-D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person cheated complainant’s Rs. 19, 999/- by using PAYTM on 02.09.2020. A case FIR No. 198, U/S 419, 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Mukesh Bhagat R/o #35-A, Sector-41, Chandigarh reported that unknown person cheated complainant’s Rs. 24, 835/- through PAYTM 07.09.2020. A case FIR No. 322, U/S 419, 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
