Action against gambling/satta 

Chandigarh Police arrested Swaraj Kumar R/o # 282, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 20.10.2020 and cash Rs. 1050/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 194, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Sector-63, Chandigarh harassed the complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Gurgaon (HR) harassed the complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Sector 40, Chandigarh harassed the complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 72, U/S 323, 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder and Arms act

A case FIR No. 127, U/S 307, 34 IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sandeep Kumar R/o # 2597, Sector-25, Chandigarh who alleged that Vijay and Others fired gunshot upon complainant at his shop i.e. H.No. 2358 Sec-25, Chandigarh on 19.10.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Dharampal R/o # 1388, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-03L-5933 parked near his house on the night intervening 18/19-10-2020. A case FIR No. 201, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Mandeep Gogliya R/o # 6747/C, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Hero Deluxe M/Cycle No. CH-01BC-1703 parked near his house on the night intervening 19/20-10-2020. A case FIR No. 320, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

A lady resident of Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold chain, gold earring, silver anklet, cash Rs. 13,000/-, mobile phone, ATM card and documents from her house on 20.10.2020. A case FIR No. 202, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
