Better co-ordination of tri-city police discussed

        An interstate co-ordination meeting was held on 14.10.2020 at 12 noon on the direction of H.E. Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab-cum Administrator UT, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, DGP, UT, Chandigarh at Police Headquarters, Sector-09, UT, Chandigarh. In the meeting, inter-alia the points were discussed with a view to enhance coordination between Tri-city police.

1. Better co-ordination of tri-city police was discussed.

• Sharing of Information regarding movement of gangsters.
• Sharing of terror and gangster related intelligence and inputs.
• Strategy to curb crime in tri-city.
• Strategies to check proliferation of illicit firearms.
• Law and Order Management in view of upcoming festivals.
• Strengthening of shared border.
