Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay R/o # 2033, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh (age 22 years) and recovered one Desi pistol from his possession near Khera Mandir, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 23.09.2020. A case FIR No. 185, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 84, U/S 279, 427 IPC & 185 MV Act has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against driver of Honda Accord Car No. HR-03H-6535 namely Mit Mohan Singh Kahlon R/o # 445 Sec-6 Panchkula (HR), who rashly and negligently rammed his vehicle into the wall of Golf Club, Sector 6, Chandigarh on 22.09.2020. Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A case FIR No. 122, U/S 323, 452, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ishteyak Ahmad R/o # 43/B, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that persons namely Vickey, Shivu,  Krishan all R/o EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh forcibly entered in his house and assaulted complainant and his son on 23.09.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 159, U/S 324, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sonu Singh R/o # 154, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who reported that 6 unknown persons assaulted complainant at forest area backside Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 23.09.2020. Complainant got injured admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 175, U/S 323, 452, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Deepak Kumar R/o # 298, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh who alleged that persons namely Amir Khan R/o # 299, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh came on roof top of his house and assaulted/ pushed complainant on 22.09.2020. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector-34, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person on a motorcycle snatched away the complainant’s purse containing mobile phone and cash Rs. 500/- near # 1232 Sector-34/C, Chandigarh on 23.09.2020. A case FIR No. 191, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Inderjit Singh R/o # 226/2, Sector-37/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No CH-01CA-8737 parked near his house on the night intervening 22/23-09-2020. A case FIR No. 292, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Surjit Singh R/o # 1202/A, Sector-41/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No CH-01BQ-7772 parked near his house on the night intervening 22/23-09-2020. A case FIR No. 293, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
