One person arrested for gambling satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Pardeep R/o # 379A, EWS Colony, Maulijagran, Chandigarh while he was playing dara/satta near Community center, Maulijagran, Chandigarh on 03.09.2020 and recovered cash Rs. 1470/-. A case FIR No. 172, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MJ, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Rama Kant R/o # 1464, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-rickshaw No. HR-2020T/R-5561 from Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 150, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 Assault

A case FIR No. 179, U/S 147, 148, 149, 307, 363, 506, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Nand Lal R/o # 2030, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh who alleged that Cheema, Bahman, Anil, Gaurave, Deepa, Vishal and other all they assaulted to complainant with sharp edged weapon near his residence on 02.09.2020. Nand Lal got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. One accused namely Anil Kumar arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
