Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Salman Ilahi, Sher Singh, Jaswinder singh, Rahul ans Aslam all resident of Chandigarh while they were gambling near Govt. School, Hallomajra, Chandigarh on 01.09.2020. Total cash Rs. 2620/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 177, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Gurmeet Singh. Kamal, Hemraj, Navrej and Deepak all resident of Chandigarh while they were gambling near power Grid, Hallomajra, Chandigarh on 01.09.2020. Total cash Rs. 2510/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 178, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Darshan Singh R/o # 1144, Sector-40-B, Chandigarh, reported that unknown person stole away 02 batteries of complainant’s E-rickshaw No. CH01TE-3461, near his residence. A case FIR No. 272, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

MV Theft

Sahil R/o # 2169, Phase-1, Mohali, reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s motorcycle No. PB23J6271 from near SCO No. 228, Sector-40-D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 270, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/quarrel

Vicky R/o # 6615, Sector-56, Chandigarh, reported that Deepak and Rahul both resident of Sector 56, Chandigarh both were beaten to complainant near his residence on 01.09.2020. A case FIR No. 271, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Himmat Jakhar R/o # 293, Sector-10, Chandigarh, reported that Punyamanthula Navya Radhakrishan, Chinta Shankar Rao & others R/o # 53-41-48/4 KRM Colony, Vishakhapatnam cheated worth Rs. 52 lakh in sale/purchase of Mercedes car. A case FIR No. 79, U/S 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident Chandigarh reported that his daughter aged 15 years has been missing from Sector 18, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
