Accident

A case FIR No. 65, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the statement of Mohd. Usman R/o # 1693, Burail, Sector-45,  Chandigarh who reported that driver of Honda Accord car No. CH04B5700 hit to M/Cycle No. UP78CP0081 driven by Pardeep Kumar Dass R/o # 2454/A Sec-28A, Chandigarh near Chowk, Sector 18/19/20/21, Chandigarh and also struck the car with backside wall of H.No. 3020, Sector 19, Chandigarh on 01.08.2020. Motorcyclist got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. The driver of car namely namely Piyush R/o # 3456 Sector-56, Chandigarh (age 31 years) and passenger of the car also got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 236, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the statement of Ravinder Singh R/o # 44, DMC, Sector 38(W), Chandigarh who alleged that driver of unknown vehicle (Mahindra pick-up Type) sped away after hitting to Activa Scooter No. CH115-4458(T) driven by complainant’s brother namely Balkar Singh near light point Sector 38/40, Chandigarh on 31.07.2020. He got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh and later got admitted in Max Hospital, Mohali (PB). Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A case FIR No. 159, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh who alleged that a boy snatched her mobile phone at Mandi Ground, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh and tried to ran away but he was caught by complainant on the spot with help of public person on 31.07.2020. The alleged boy (Age 16 years) has been apprehended and sent to juvenile home, Sector 25, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Ram Kumar R/o # 2167, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person committed theft at his house after breaking the locks between 24.07.2020 to 31.07.2020. A case FIR No. 160, U/S 457, 380 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Prof D.N Jauhar R/O House No. 1141, Sector-37-B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away a pot along with valuable plant from the boundary wall of his house on 30.07.2020. A case FIR No. 234, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Manish Kumar R/o # 2505, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his Complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01AW3244 parked at the back side of Krishna Market Sector-41, Chandigarh on 30.07.2020. A case FIR No. 235, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
