A case FIR No. 142, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh against Ravinder Kumar R/o 108, Sector-29, Chandigarh, who was arrested while roaming without pass permission during lockdown hours near Sai Baba Mandir, Sector-29, Chandigarh on 21.07.2020. He disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 108, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Manjit Singh R/o 2103, Pipli Wala Town, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who was arrested while roaming without pass permission during lockdown hours near Fauji Dhaba, Maniamajra, Chandigarh on 21.07.2020. He disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 167, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Chand R/o 745-C, Dhanas, Chandigarh, who was arrested while roaming without pass permission during lockdown hours near Fish market, Shastri nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 21.07.2020. He disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault/Quarrel
A case FIR No. 143, U/S 188, 323, 354, 452, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Nishu R/o # 1458/15, Sector-29, Chandigarh who alleged Suraj Parkash @ Deepu R/o # 1448/19, Sector-29, Chandigarh, Sonu Gupta resident of village Abheypur, Panchkula and Rohit all they entered in complainant’s residence on 20.07.2020 and beaten him and also misbehaved with his wife Jyoti. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 160, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sheesh Pal R/o # 3186, Maulijagran Complex, Chandigarh alleged that Rahul and Mahesh both R/o # 3190, Maulijagran, Chandigarh, they beaten/threatened complainant and his brother namely Nek Ram near his residence on 20.07.2020. Nek Ram got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 161, U/S 323, 324, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul R/o # 3190, Maulijagran, Chandigarh alleged that Sheesh Pal, Nek ram and Binder all R/o # 3186, Maulijagran Complex, Chandigarh, they beaten/threatened complainant his residence on 20.07.2020. Rahul got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 144, U/S 188, 341, 147, 148, 149, 354, 354-A, 308, 395 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kavita W/o Ankush R/o # 100, Sector-45, Chandigarh who alleged that Manu Batta, Shivam Batta, Kaku, Sachin, Manish Batta and others they all they beaten to complainant and her husband and other family members near Surya hotel, Village Burail, Chandigarh and also eve teased her on 20.07.2020. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused namely Manu Batta, Sachin and a lady arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 228, U/S 323, 341, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Arun kumar R/o # 553/2, Sector-41, Chandigarh alleged that Vijay Kant R/o # 554/1, Sector-41-A, Chandigarh alongwith his family members attacked on complainant with sharp weapon at backside of his residence on 19.07.2020. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Love Gupta R/o # 2299/D, Block-31, Housing Board Flats, Sec-63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s motorcycle No. DL65AR3528 from parking near his residence. A case FIR No. 159, U/S 379B, 356, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh Investigation of the case is in progress.
