One person arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas @ Vicky R/o # 310, Sector-15 Panchkula, and recovered 2 boxes containing 44 quarters and 12 bottles of whiskey while carrying in his E-rikshaw on 19.05.2020 near Entry point transport area, Sector 26, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 103, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

Ravi Knat R/o # 1467, Deep Complex, Hallomajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle No. CH04J-2417, near Mandi, Ram Darbar on 19.05.2020. A case FIR No. 104, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
