One person arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Lakhbir Singh resident of Distt. Moahli and recovered 20 bottles of English wine from his possession near HBC Bridge, Dhanas on 07.05.2020. They also disobeyed the curfew orders issued by DM, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 84, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Sham and Munish both resident of Maloya, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at public place on 07.05.202. They also disobeyed the curfew orders issued by DM, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vickey resident of DMC, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at public place on 07.05.202. They also disobeyed the curfew orders issued by DM, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

          A case FIR No. 71, U/S 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kuldeep Gupta R/o # 663/a, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh against Vineet, Ajit and suraj resident not known, who run away after beaten/thretened to complainant’s near EWS Colony, Dhanas on 02.05.2020. Complainant got injured and got admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sunil Nayar R/o # 120, Phase-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh reported that Sanjay, James, Gulu, Mariyapa and Naveen all resident not known all they beaten complainant at his residence on 06.05.2020. A case FIR No. 93, U/S 147, 149, 323 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Complainant got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Maniamajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 84, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gulshan Kumar R/o # 3343, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh against Lavish Kumar driver of Tata Ace No. PB10-GW8473 hit to complainant’s son (Cyclist) aged about 5 years near # 3281, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh on 07.05.2020. He got injuries and admitted in PGI, where duty doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          A person resident of Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 13 years has been missing from his residence from 05.05.2020. A case FIR No.78 U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person abducted his daughter aged about 17 years from his residence on 06.05.2020. A case FIR No.104 U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-MJ, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Dr. Pardeep Atter R/o # 1147, Sector -21, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s mobile phone from his residence on 07.05.2020. A case FIR No.45 U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
