Three arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Pankaj Kumar R/o # 1094, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on the secret information and recovered 42 quarters of whiskey marka kings gold from his possession at tin shed, Power House, Kabari Market, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 29.03.2020. A case FIR No. 54, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ashish Kumar @ Kaku R/o # 320, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh on secret information and recovered 28 bottles & 117 halves of different brands of whiskey from his possession at room at Prema Complex, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh on 29.03.2020. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vinay R/o # 2885, DMC, UT, Chandigarh age 23 years and recovered 3 boxes of Royal Stag Whiskey from him near H.No. 2900, DMC, Chandigarh on 29.03.2020. He was also disobeying the curfew orders issued by DM, UT, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 48, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
