Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Abinash R/o # 3083, Sector-23D, Chandigarh (age 29 years old) and recovered 54.90 gram heroin from his possession road near Children Traffic Park, Sector-23, Chandigarh on 21.03.2020. A case FIR No. 50, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh (age 25 years old) and recovered 22.53 gram heroin from her possession near Govt. Veterinary Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 21.03.2020. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 39, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of SDEO Lalit Mohan Sharma, BSNL, Telephone Exchange, Sector 17, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 5 types wires BSNL Telephone, (length 180 TO 190 Meter) near Kendriya Sadan, backside Mini Secretariat (PB) Sector-9, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

Krishan R/o # 2075, Sector-25, Chandigarh reported that Mohit, Naresh and two ladies beaten/threatened complainant and his mother at his residence on 20.03.2020. A case FIR No. 49, U/S 323, 452, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Both got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Ravinder Puri R/o # 2602, Sector-19C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Maruti car No. CH01-BN-1900 while parked near his residence on 19.03.2020. A case FIR No. 22, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Fayaz Ahmad Lone R/o # 316, Sector-32A, Chandigarh reported that he was coming from Modern Academy to his residence on 21.03.2020 and when he reached near H.No. 228, Sector-32, Chandigarh three unknown persons on motor cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone.  A case FIR No. 46, U/S 379-A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Outrage modesty of women

A girl reported that she was going to market with her sister and friend and when she reached near School, Sector 44, Chandigarh 3 unknown persons occupant of Innova Crysta car abused and assaulted complainant on 14.03.2020.  A case FIR No. 47, U/S 341, 354, 354A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Som Nath R/o # 2401, DMC, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown driver of Pulsar M/Cycle No. PB65Z-3293 sped away after hitting to complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01AZ-1337 near   Govt. School, DMC, Chandigarh on 20.03.2020. Complainant and his grandson age about 5 years both got injured and were admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
