Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Three cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park and PS-49, Chandigarh against three persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 13.03.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 49, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Brij Kishore R/o # 735, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari on 13.03.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 50, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Ashok Kumar R/o Village Bhagwanpura, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari on 13.03.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested with fake number plate on stolen Activa

Chandigarh Police arrested Jasanpreet Singh @ Jasan R/o # 2276/1, Sector-40-C, Chandigarh age about 20 years while he was using fake Registration No. CH01AH-4537 on Activa Scooter at naka near Market, Sector 40 D, Chandigarh on 13.03.2020. Activa Scooter was wanted in case FIR No. 26/20, U/S 379 IPC registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. In this regard, a case FIR No. 91, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Snatching

A girl resident of Jagadhari, Yamunanagar, Haryana and presently residing at Sector-38, Chandigarh reported that 3 unknown persons occupant of Activa who snatched away complainant’s mobile phone, near Govt. School, Sector-38, Chandigarh on 07.03.2020.  A case FIR No. 90, U/S 379-A IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Angrej Singh, SDE, MC, Division No.6, Sector 11, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away two heritage gutter covers from Sector-10 and Sector-3, Chandigarh during last few days. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abducted

A case FIR No. 38, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of a person resident of ITBP Camp, Behlana, Chandigarh who reported that his friend’s son age about 9 years old has been missing from his residence. Investigation of the case is in progress.

JJ Act

A case FIR No. 39, U/s 79 Juvenile Justice Act 2015 has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Tabassum Khan, District Child Protection Officer, Chandigarh against unknown person who had taken child labor from a child age 10 years at Hallomajra light point on 28.01.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.
