Today, i.e. on 05.03.2020 Passing Out Parade of 472 (230 male and 242 females) recruits of Chandigarh Police was held at PRTC, Jahan Khelan, Punjab. Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, UT. Chandigarh was the chief guest of this passing out parade ceremony and Sh. Shashank Anand, IPS, SSP Security & Traffic, UT, Chandigarh, Sh. Vineet Kumar, IPS, SP-City & Operation, Sh. Sandeep Kumar Sharma, PPS, Commandant, ISTC Kapoorthala and Ms. Sita Devi, CPS, DSP-Training & Recruitment also attended this prestigious event. All the families of recruits were also invited to witness swear-in ceremony.
Training is the cornerstone of police life and on this basis they can serve the society in a better and professional way. These 472 recruits of Chandigarh Police which have been passed out today in the training centre PRTC, Jahan Khelan which is one of the best training centres in India. These recruits of Chandigarh Police have also been specially imparted training in Yoga so that they can perform their duties professionally and in a better way while public dealing and during Law & Order duties.
Best performers i.e. Lady Recruit Constable Anju Bai, No.2141/CP (All round first & first in Indoor Classes), Lady Recruit Constable Kavita, No.512/CP (First in Outdoor Classes), Lady Recruit Constable KM Srishti, No.647/CP (Parade Commander) and Recruit Constable Vikas, No.1816/CP (Second Parade Commander) have been awarded by the chief guest for their future encouragement.
