Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Rakesh Kumar R/o BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, while he was playing dara Satta on 13.02.2020 and recovered cash Rs. 1750/- from his possession.  In this regard, a case FIR No. 29, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          Satyapal Sharma R/o # 422, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 1 gold ring, 3 pair ear ring, 650 gram Chandi, 3 FD of State Bank Of India and cash Rs. 150000/- by breaking the locks of his residence on the night intervening 08/09-02.2020, while he was gone to attend the Marriage function with his family at Distt. Karnal. A case FIR No. 27, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Sudish Kumar R/o #19, Village Jagatpura, (PB) aged about 20 years  reported that 3 unknown person occupants motorcycle Number followed only PB-15— who sped away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone near Mount Carmel School, Sector-47, Chandigarh 13-02-2020. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 379-B, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of sector 51-B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person on motorcycle number not known who forcibly snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 4500/-, ATM card, mobile, Adhar card, Pan card and Office ID card from near Indian enclave, Sector-51, Chandigarh on 13.02.2020.  A case FIR No. 12, U/S 379-A IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Mahesh Kumar R/o # 986, Village Burail, Chandigarh 2 unknown person who cheated complainant’s cash Rs. 29000/- from PNB, Village Burail, Chandigarh on 13.02.2020.  A case FIR No. 23, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Deepak Vats r/o # 3234, Sector-46, Chandigarh reported that someone has stole away her Activa No. CH01AZ-5719, from GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
