Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Three cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Ind. Area, & PS-IT Park Chandigarh against three persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 09.02.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Distt. Unnao, (UP) harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Dehradun (UK) harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 27, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 23, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Kaka Singh R/o #403, NIC, Manimarja, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public place with installing rehri/fari on 09.02.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 24, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Sant Ram R/o # 287, NIC, Manimarja, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public place with installing rehri/fari on 09.02.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Yashpal R/o # 3267, Sector-38, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Auto No. PB65AH-4437, parked near his residence. A case FIR No. 44, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
