One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Mukesh Kumar R/o # 5915, Sector-56, Chandigarh and recovered 24 bottles of illegal country liquor near Sector-39/40-55/56 Chowk, towards Sector-40D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/abducted

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 13 years and other two boys aged about 14 years and 16 years have been missing from Village Kajheri since 02.02.2020. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty

A case FIR No. 14, U/S 341, 323, 509, 506, 354, 354-A IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl who alleged that Shahrookh Khan @ Sam R/o # 1394, Janta Colony, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) quarreled/beaten her and outraged her modesty near School Gate, Chandigarh on 03.02.2020. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Raj Kumar R/o SCO No.27, Jivan Deep Building, Sector-17, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bolero Jeep No. HR70U-0066 from parking of TDI Mall, Sector-17, Chandigarh between 01.02.2020 to 03.02.2020. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01BV-4257 from parking, Ind. Area, Ph-1, Chandigarh on 14.12.2019. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-I/A, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
