AHTU team Chandigarh reunites a child with family

Anti Human Trafficking Unit received an email dated 28.11.2019 from Snehalaya, Maloya, Chandigarh to trace out the parents of child boy Bunty, Age – 08 years, who was got admitted in Snehalaya, Maloya, Chandigarh under the runaway category.  On this, the team of AHTU visited Snehalaya, Maloya and interacted with the child. During the interaction, child Bunty was told that his parents is residing in Kalka, Haryana but not able to tell proper address. He also told that he was reached in Chandigarh from Kalka himself by train and after he rescued by Child Help Line. On this information, ASI Ballu Singh visited many places in Kalka, Haryana alongwith child Bunty. After sincere efforts, ASI Ballu Singh succeeded in tracing the parents of child Bunty. His parent is residing at open shed, back side of Railway Station, Kalka. They informed that they left his child at the shed alone and gone to attend Kriya of their known in cremation ground Kalka which was 1.5 Kilometer far away from their shed. On 16.12.2019, parents of child Bunty came to AHTU office Sec-17,Chd and they were taken to CWC office Sanehalaya, Maloya.  After completion the due procedure, the child has been handed over to his Parents. The child Bunty has been reunited with their parents by the best efforts made by AHTU Team.
