Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Sibhu R/o # 1475, Churiyan Wala Mohalla, MM, Chandigarh, Chandigarh while gambling near Kila, Manimajra, Chandigarh, on 06.12.2019. Total cash Rs. 3160/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 206, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arrest in rape case

          A case FIR No. 205, U/S 376, 420, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the statement of a girl resident of Chandigarh against Wasim Abbas resident of Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh and who raped her in pretext to marriage.  Accused arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          Gullu Yadav R/o # 164/3, EWS Colony, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away water meter from his residence on the night intervening 02/03-12-2019. A case FIR No. 200, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A girl resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away her bicycle from in front of commerce Academy, Sector-36-a, Chandigarh on 29.11.2019. A case FIR No. 249, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person abducted/missing her daughter aged 17 years from her residence on 06.12.2019. A case FIR No. 206, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
