        A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place near Petrol Pump, Sector-22A, Chandigarh on 30.11.2019. Later he was released on bail.

MV theft

          Amit Kumar R/o # 422AF, Sector-7A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bajaj Platina M/Cycle No. CH01AR-6987 from parking of Leisure Valley, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 22.11.2019. A case FIR No. 294, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Kashmiri Lal R/o # 282A, Esic Colony, Sector-30A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Hero Honda Splendor M/Cycle No. HR08L-4095 near PNB backside Parking, Sector-22D, Chandigarh on 27.11.2019. A case FIR No. 378, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A girl resident of Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh reported that unknown pedestrian person ran away after snatching purse containing cash Rs. 4000/-, ATM card & documents from complainant near Gurudwara, Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh on 30.11.2019. A case FIR No. 162, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Dowry

          A lady resident of Sector-38, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Pinjore, (HR) harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 164, U/S 406, 498-A has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arms Act & Endangering life or personal safety of others

A case FIR No. 273, U/S 336 IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Inderjit Singh, working bouncer at Playground Lounge and Bar SCO No-48, Sector-26, Chandigarh against two unknown persons who open fire at gate of Playground Lounge and Bar on night intervening 30.11.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 290, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of Rinku R/o # 1037, Ph-1 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against driver of car No. CH01AV-6329 who hit to Activa Scooter No. CH01BF-1226 driven by Raccha Ram R/o # 574 Vill. Hallo Majra, Chandigarh near backside Plot No. 321, main road, Ph-2, I/Area, Chandigarh on 30.11.2019. Activa Scooter driver got injured and admitted in GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Driver of car ran away after leaving car on the spot. Investigation of the case is in progress.
