One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Buta Singh @ Vicky R/o #477, Gali No. 3, Ravidass, Mohalla, Burail, Chandigarh 22.11.2019, from Sector 44/45 light point and recovered 7.30 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 287, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

13 persons arrested for consuming liquor at public places

        13 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, PS-19, PS-I/Area, PS-MM, PS-36, PS-34, PS49 & PS-39  Chandigarh against 12 persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 22.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Assault

          Balwinder Singh R/o # 458, Sector 25, Chandigarh reported that Vijay, Rajat, Kala, Rahul all resident not known who beaten complainant infront of his residence on 21.11.2019. A case FIR No. 227, U/S 147, 148, 323, 324, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Burglary

          Madhu Sudan Sharma R/o # 5711, Sector 38, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away articles not estimated from his sister’s residence i.e. #146, Sector-36-A, Chandigarh on 22.11.2019 by breaking the lock. A case FIR No. 240, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Neeraj Saily R/o # 3390/1, Sector 40-D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold ornaments after broken the locks of H. No.1101, Sector-40-B, Chandigarh on 22.11.2019. A case FIR No. 425, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 296, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-I/A, Chandigarh on the statement of Chhote Lal R/o # 267/1, Maloya Part-1, Small Flats, Chandigarh against driver of car No. PB30K-5200, who hit to complainant (pedestrian) near Gate No.2, Elante Mall, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 12.11.2019.  Complainant and girl got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.
