Six persons arrested for consuming liquor at public place

           Six different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-26 & PS-34, Chandigarh against six persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 16.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 348, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Sunil Kumar R/o # 719/13, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near SCO No. 83, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 350, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Rajesh R/o Bijwara Market, Sector-22, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Shastri Market, Sector 22, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Gurjot Singh R/o VPO Mandoli Kalan, Distt-Ropar (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Platina M/Cycle No. PB-12R-3450 parked near DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 30.10.2019. A case FIR No. 285, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Paramjit Singh R/o # 630, Sector-22/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Yamaha M/Cycle No. CH-03W-8953 from PHB Parking, Market, Sector-22D, Chandigarh on 27.10.2019. A case FIR No. 349, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Javed Khan R/o # 335, Village-Daria, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Auto No. CH-111T-3902 parked near Masjid, Village-Daria, Chandigarh on 11.11.2019. A case FIR No. 293, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft/Criminal breach of trust

          Sunil Bodh R/o # 631, Daddu Majra Colony, Chandigarh alleged that Raj Kumar R/o # 2946, Daddu Majra Colony, Chandigarh had taken Tempo Traveler No. PB01-4121 from complainant but he stolen AC Stereo, Conductor Seat, Battery, push back seat, stepny, Amron back rod pana, jack, wooden seat and power pump from his tempo traveler. A case FIR No. 190, U/S 379, 406 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
