One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 10.10.2019. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested for attempt to theft

Harish Chander R/o # 575, Ph-1, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh alleged that a boy namely Ricky @ Sagar R/o # 138, Ph-II, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, age 19 years tried to commit theft at his house on 10.10.2019. Complainant caught alleged person on the spot. A case FIR No. 238, U/S 380, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for Robbery

          Baljinder Singh R/o # 264, Ward No. 10/A, AP Enclave Colony, Dhuri, Distt Sangrur (PB) reported that unknown person on Pulsar M/Cycle No. CH32T3594 robbed away cash Rs. 1300/- and Aadhar Card from complainant at U-turn near Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 208, U/S 392 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later one person Mohit R/o # 219, Sector 25, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 207, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Devinder Singh Thakur R/o Sushma Urban Vient D-701 Dakoli, Zirakpur, (PB) against driver of Tractor No. PB65AR2321 namely Village-Balamgarh Madwara, PS-Singh Bhagwantpura, Distt Ropar, (PB), who hit into complainant’s Eco Sports Car No. HP28C1228 near Gate No. 2, PGI, Chandigarh on 10.10.2019. Alleged person arrested in this case and released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sunita R/o # P-693, Teen Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away one pair tops, two pair silver anklets, two pair silver kangan, one silver chain, one gold locket, cash Rs. 10,000/- and driving license from her house on 10-10-2019. A case FIR No. 206, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Hardeep Singh R/o # 3218, Sector-22D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01BX8826 parked near # 486/2, Sector-40/A, Chandigarh on night intervening 08/09.10.2019. A case FIR No. 359, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Harihar Shah R/o # 179/1, Village-Palsora, Sector 55, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH04A0644 parked near Sabji Mandi, Sector-40/A, Chandigarh on 09.10.2019. A case FIR No. 360, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
