One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case FIR No. 259 U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at different public places on 30.09.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Information Technology Act

A case FIR No. 309, U/S 66C, 67 IT Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh against unknown person who made fake Instagram account by using complainant’s name and profile. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident 

A case FIR No. 251, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajesh R/o # 2510/2 Sector-49C, Chandigarh against driver of Swift car No. HR03U-8839 namely Jobanjeet Singh R/o # 217, Sector-20, Panchkula, (HR) who hit to complainant’s Motorcycle No. CH01AA-9535, near light point, Sector 31/Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on 30.09.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested in this case and later released on bail. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Karan Garg R/o # 3317, Sector-32, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his Swift car No. HR15G-0048 parked near his house on 30.09.2019. A case FIR No. 248, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Ravi Rathi R/o # 3543, Sector-38D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away two tires i.e. rear and front of driver side of his Maruti Suzuki Ciaz car No. UP14CV-3630 from parking near 24/7 Store, Sector-38, Chandigarh on 30.09.2019. A case FIR No. 342, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
