One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case FIR NO.307 U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against a person who was arrested while consuming liquor at different public places on 28.09.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Case under IT Act

A case FIR No. 196, U/S 66C, 66D IT Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sudhir Kumar Srivastava R/o # 2461, Sector-39-C, Chandigarh against unknown person who used complainant’s official email id to send his resignation to his office i.e. Dainik Bhaskar, Sector-25, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 306, U/S 420, 419, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunil Rajta R/o # 166, Sector 16A, Chandigarh against unknown person who withdrawal cash Rs. 4 lacs by using SBI Credit card and HDFC Credit Card information through online on 28.09.2019. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident  

A case FIR No. 119, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ajit Kumar R/o near Indian Bank, Village Jhujahar Nagar, Distt. Mohali (PB) against Shiv Shankar R/o # 1370, Maulijagran, Chandigarh who was driving Truck No. PB11CN-7890, which hit to his motorcycle No. CH01AM1657, near Community Center, Sec-21, Chandigarh on 27.09.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case and released on bail. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that a person resident of Chandigarh abducted her daughter age about 18 years from her residence on 28.09.2019. A case FIR No. 249, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 340 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against Deepak Kumar R/o 72/6, Village Baterla, Sector-41-B, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with Rehri-fari near Booth No.38, Sector-40-C, Chandigarh on 28.09.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrest U/s 382 IPC

Gurpreet Singh R/o Village- Jhampur, Distt.- Mohali, PB., reported that 2 person on motorcycle pushed him and forcibly snatched away his mobile phone from near Sector 55/56-39/40 chowk, Sector 56 side on 26.09.2019. A case FIR No. 341, U/S 382 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later one accused namely Kamal Kumar resident of Village Matour, Distt. Mohali in this case and recovered the mobile from his possession.  Investigation of the case is in progress.
