A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against a person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 19.09.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 294, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Partap R/o # 351, Sec-22, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near Booth No.67, Sector-23, market, Chandigarh on 19.09.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 295, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Mohammad Riaaj R/o # 2011, Saini Mohalla, Burail, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public way at SCO No.1066-67, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 19.09.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Distt. Mohali, PB., alleged that her husband and others resident of Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 119, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Raju R/o # 1347, Sector-45, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his car No.CH03L-0558, near Civil Hospital, Sec-45, Chandigarh on the night intervening 08/09.09.2019. A case FIR No. 237, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
