Action against Gambling/Satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul R/o # 490, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, while playing satta near Sabzi Mandi, Vikas Nagar, Chandigarh on 14.09.2019. Total cash Rs. 3120/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 160, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & other resident of Sector 45, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 114, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Sandeep Kumar R/o # 101, Gali No. 01, Kansal, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that he is working as helper at HP Petrol Pump, Sector-20, Chandigarh and on night intervening 13/14-09-2019, unknown person stolen away 6 Mobile Phones of workers from room at HP Petrol Pump, Sector-20, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 113, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

 Ravi Kumar R/o # 25, Village Daria, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Complainant’s Auto No. CH01TB-2814 parked near House No. 192 Village Daria, Chandigarh on night intervening 12/13-09-2019. A case FIR No. 245 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
